Home Assistant Button
The homeassistant button platform allows you to create a button that presses a Home Assistant button or
input_button entity using the native API. Pressing the button on the device calls the
button.press or input_button.press action, chosen from the entity’s domain. Buttons have no state, so nothing
is imported from Home Assistant.
NOTE
Although you might not plan to export states from the node and you do not need an entity of the node in Home Assistant, this component still requires you to register the node under Home Assistant. See: Connecting your device to Home Assistant.
Home Assistant must also allow the device to perform actions. See Actions.
